The book is a systematic introduction to programming drivers Windows 2000 / XP / Server 2003 and Windows 98 / Me using the Microsoft Windows DDK. Since the review of basic concepts and terms of programming drivers, the author then examines in detail the set of software tools required to develop kernel-mode drivers in the operating system Windows, and after the implementation of a complete driver, giving the accumulation starting experience, proceeds to a detailed examination of the structure and the WDM driver model "driver-in-style-NT".
