Description

ChModerator - recursive change permissions ChModerator - recursive change permissions

ChModerator - is a PHP script to recursively change permissions to files and directories.

This script only works in recursive mode. Changes permissions in the specified directory to all nested folders and files.

If the directory is selected, the script changes the rules in the current directory. Using the navigation directory, you can make the transition and selecting the folder you want to work.

The script takes two parameters to be adjusted. The first - a code of rights for directories and one for files.

Before starting work, the server checks for the function «chmod», which is used for the script. In her absence, it will receive a message.

The file name of the script (chm.php), you can rename at his discretion, on his work it would have no impact.

Also, the script does not change the access rights for yourself ...

Upon completion of the work, the script displays a detailed report on the status of changes in access rights for all files and folders.

When compared with the change of access rights via FTP, then this script runs much faster.
