Cossacks 3: Guardians of the Highlands gives the player the opportunity to lead Scotland, a freedom-loving nation of highlanders who make their debut in the Cossacks series. An exciting campaign will tell the story of the triumphs of the fearless Scots over the great forces of the 17th and 18th centuries, and will give the player the opportunity to personally take part in them. In addition, the new addition will add an innovative mechanic to the game - an AI Assistant, which will help novice players in their first battles and relieve experienced players of trivial tasks.

• Scotland: a completely new nation with unique game mechanics, units and buildings. Route your opponents with the help of the mighty Highlanders, or turn them to dust with volleys from the mighty Scottish weapons of war.
• New game mechanics: Scotland will surprise even the most seasoned veterans, because warriors in kilts use special techniques to achieve victory.
• Assistant: a revolutionary AI assistant that will help the player in the difficult task of governing the state. The assistant will tell the player which building should be built next, when resources have accumulated for it, and will also take control of forgotten peasants and direct them to priority tasks, and much more. From now on, the player can not bother with non-royal matters and can focus his attention on the things that interest him: battles and the defeat of the enemy, while his faithful assistant will take on everyday tasks.
• Scottish Campaign: Lead the Scottish clans in large-scale battles and lead the Highlanders to brilliant victories. From the Battle of Marston Moor to the famous Jacobite Rebellion, you will lead the Sons of Alba into battle!
