The tenth volume Flora of Eastern Europe ", similar to the previous, is a continuation of the previously unreleased" Flora of the European part of the USSR ", and contains the characteristics of higher plants, 19 families with 136 genera and 1100 species. Among the families included in the largest and most economically important are family rose (Rosaceae) and the buttercup (Ranunculaceae). Besides wild and adventitious species, also included the most important cultivated plants. For each species, are the main synonymy, geographic distribution within the territory of the "Flora" and beyond, living conditions, as well as chromosome number.
