Esoteric philosophy maintains that the variety of external empirical world lies a single reality, the source and cause of all that was, is and will be. The great interpreter of the Vedic tradition of Sri Sankaracharya cites as an example to illustrate this assertion with the clay, which, no matter what kind of gave her no, is the only reality of objects, while its shape and name - nothing more than deceptive, transient visibility. As with all things, arising from the One Supreme - in its essential nature is not nothing like this very college. All the endless phenomena manifested universe, everything in it - from the highest to the lowest, from the huge to the smallest - is One, dressed in names and forms.
The doctrine of the fundamental unity of all things is a hallmark of the theosophical system. Thus, none of the doctrines based on the recognition of the original duality, whether they talk about eternal separation of spirit and matter, of a different nature of God and man, or of good and evil as the eternal realities - may have no relationship to Theosophy.
"The fundamental unity of each of the ultimatum nature, a part of nature - from star to mineral atom, from the highest Dhyan Chohan to the smallest infusoria, in full acceptance of the term, and whether it will be applied to the spiritual, or the thinking, or physical world - this unity there is a single, basic law of Occult Science.
