Currently, the Russian fleet computing is growing rapidly. An integral part of any computer system, whether it is a powerful server or a simple home computer, a printing device or printer. It has long gone are the days of unchallenged reign of dot matrix printers with their low speed and print quality, and (most importantly!) Penny consumables. However, technological progress does not stand still. There was a need for multi-color printing of documents at high speed and high resolution. In place of the matrix models came laser and inkjet printers.

Along with their undoubted advantages, the main stumbling block of all modern printers is the relatively high price of consumables.

The so-called removable cartridges used in modern printers are quite expensive (the price varies from 25 to 150 dollars). And in the inkjet ink cartridge lasts for 250 ... 500 printed pages, which corresponds to the price of supplies about 2 rubles per page (not including the paper). At the price of laser printers consumables for the printing sheet below, but it does not change the facts. If you intend to print color documents, this price increases several times (the cost of consumables for color printing on laser printers is not taken into account, as in this case, and the cost of the printer itself and indecent material reaches high values).

You can add the following - the pricing policy of modern office equipment manufacturers is that the cost of a new printer (with a set of ink cartridges) only 3 ... 6 times the price of a set of new cartridges. 1de way out? Most buy new printers? (Joke). Or find other ways.

What types of ink and the powder used in the filling? On the Internet, information is sufficient, but it is often contradictory and sometimes harmful.

This book is the first attempt to answer the questions on refueling and restoration of cartridges inkjet and laser printers. It first presented material on more than 50 names of cartridges used in the vast majority of printers (more than 300 types) of the Russian fleet. The book contains detailed algorithms refueling, restoration and repair of modern cartridges not only for printers, but also photocopiers. For greater clarity, the tab placed color photos.

At the end of the book contains tables matching cartridges for different printer types.

The book will be useful both for specialists servicing computer equipment and ordinary users of personal computers.
