Seven Taoist Masters

"Seven Taoist masters" - the classic Chinese novel, written by an unknown author about the XVI century. It tells of the seven disciples of the great Taoist Patriarch Wang Chongyang and the incredible difficulties they had to overcome on the way to the Tao. All of them, like their teacher Wang Chongyang - real historical figures who lived in China during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). The novel gives instruction to his disciples Wang Chongyang on issues such as the cultivation of body and mind, meditation techniques, to overcome the imperfections of his own character. All this, along with an exciting adventure character description, assumes a deep and at the same time a fascinating read, revealing to the reader the basics of Taoist philosophy and practices.
